JACKSON- A State of Emergency was declared yesterday as Tropical Storm Karen approaches the state of Mississippi.

In light of this, local governments are reminded that the Technical Assistance Division of the Office of State Auditor can be a resource for any questions which may arise during preparation of the storm as well as its aftermath. Technical Assistance can be reached at 1-800-321-1275.
