JACKSON, Miss. –Jerry Howard, 51, former Cafeteria Manager at the Youth ChalleNGe Academy at Camp Shelby, was sentenced to 8 years to serve, and 2 years suspended. The Youth ChalleNGe Academy is part of the National Guard Youth Guard Program and serves at-risk male and female youth ages 16-18.

JACKSON, Miss. –Roderick Nicholson, Former Mayor of Terry, was sentenced to serve 40 years in custody of Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with 10 to serve. He was also ordered to pay restitution and court costs in the amount of $7,629.12.

JACKSON, Miss. – Special Agents from the State Auditor’s Office and Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) Enforcement arrested former MDOT employees, Clyde Poole, Jr., 28, of Batesville; Connie Shegog, 30, of Batesville; and Torrie Willey, 36, of Batesville, after they were each indicted on one count of embezzlement by a Panola County Grand Jury.

JACKSON-State Auditor Stacey Pickering announced today that Jerry Warren, the former Fire Chief of the Southwest Covington County Volunteer Fire Department (SCCVFD), pled guilty to one count of grand larceny and has been sentenced to five years non-adjudicated probation.
