Q May the bond or surety required for heavy load permits under Section 63-5-51 be secured in just one supervisor’s district?

A It is entirely within the discretion of the board of supervisors as to the type of security provided, how much, and whether the bond would apply to damage to roads in only one supervisor district, or the whole county. (Attorney General’s Opinion to Robinson dated October 15, 2010)
