Q When a county adopts the Official Road Map and Registry and does not include a road on the map but names the road in the list of county roads adopted in the minutes, is the road public?
A By not appearing on the Official Map adopted on June 20, 2000, and thereafter not being placed on the Official Register used by the county, the subject road was never adjudicated by the board of supervisors to be a public road in accordance with Section 65-7-4. The board of supervisors may take action to correct the road map and registry if and when a public road was omitted from the map or registry by mistake.
