Q Among other things, SB 2827 (2019 Regular Session, effective January 1, 2020) provided for a salary increase for supervisors. Are any other county offices tied to the supervisors’ salary?

A Yes. County prosecutor, Sections 25-3-9 and 19-3-49. Some are discretionary, some are mandatory. Section 19-3-49 states that appointed county prosecutors are paid the same as elected ones; therefore, you will just have to see which part of 25-3-9 applies to your specific counties.
Justice court judges, Section 25-3-36, shall receive any pay increase received by the supervisors.
Board attorneys, Section 19-3-47. This is discretionary with the board.
