A Page I-B3 of the Municipal Audit and Accounting Guide (http://www.osa.ms.gov) presents a proposed budget calendar. This calendar suggests departmental request forms be distributed in June. A proposed budget should be developed by August to schedule routine budget and tax increase public hearings.
