    Default Must a County Have a Written Policy for Allowing Meetings in Public Buildings?

    Q: Must a county have a written policy providing guidelines for allowing meetings in public buildings by individuals and/or groups?

    A: No. A county may, but is not required to, have a written policy setting forth guidelines for allowing meetings in public buildings by individuals and/or groups. (Attorney General’s Opinion to White dated March 27, 2009)
